StartupDrinks this Wednesday at The Pheasant Plucker

Just a reminder that Startup Drinks will be happening this Wednesday February 13th from 6:00pm until late on the 2nd floor of The Pheasant Plucker. The event was rescheduled from its usual 2nd Thursday of the month due to Valentine’s Day. Last month’s event was one of the busiest Startup Drinks we’ve ever done.

Startup Drinks is a different event every time because the format is so free form. It’s a social pub night. People interested in startups and/or technology in Hamilton show up and talk to one another. The events have managed to attract a great crowd of entrepreneurs, developers, lawyers, accountants, students and people with all kinds of backgrounds. The crowd includes veterans and newcomers alike. If you’ve thought about coming to these events in the past but have been nervous or shy, don’t let it stop you this time! The crowd is pretty friendly and welcoming.

Last month’s Startup Drinks doubled as the 2 year anniversary of Software Hamilton. This month’s Startup Drinks will also be special in that it will double as the 1 year anniversary of TechTalk4HamOnt, the web series covering Hamilton-area startups and tech. Rumor has it that TechTalk4HamOnt host Larissa D (@La_Rissa_D) is bringing cupcakes too!
