The first ever Toronto ACM SIGGRAPH Professional Chapter will be launched on June 25 and you are invited to attend it. This not-for-profit organization seeks to draw together, support and build our local computer graphics community, both creatively and technically. July 23-25, 2013: Ontario @ AlwaysOn, Innovation Summit 2013, Mountain View, CA
Ontario companies seeking funding are invited to apply for one of the 6 spots at the Ontario program at the Innovation Summit 2013. AlwaysOn Innovation Summit, an annual gathering of the brightest minds and top entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate players, hosts one of the largest gatherings of the brightest minds and top entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate players in Silicon Valley. The Innovation Summit has featured dozens of break-out companies before they became household names, including Pixar, Google, Salesforce.com, Skype, MySQL, YouTube, Tesla, Facebook, and Twitter. This two-day exclusive event treats attendees to a high-level debate and discourse on top trends and opportunities in the booming digital media, entertainment, on-demand and cloud computing sectors. Applicants must be from the digital media, entertainment, on-demand and cloud computing sectors; and at minimum be past proof of concept stage for their technologies and looking for at least seed financing, to a maximum of Series C stage and $5 million in revenue. NOTE: Companies already approved & participating in existing concurrent MEDTE international trade programs are welcome to apply, but will be required participate in both event’s scheduled programming. Sept. 23. Toronto: Asia Pacific Global Export Forum. DO NOT MISS IT…!
The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Employment (MEDTE) in partnership with OMAFRA, will hold the inaugural Asia Pacific Global Export Forum at the Westin Prince Hotel, Toronto. Referenced in the Ontario budget of May 2, the Forum is designed to inform Ontario companies of the important market opportunities in the Asia Pacific Region, encourage more companies to pursue these opportunities, and provide a forum for business mentoring. Approximately 500 participants are expected. DO NOT MISS IT…! Participation in the full-day program is free EXCEPT for the workshops and pre-arranged 1:1 meetings ($50.000 fee). The program includes:
