StartupDrinks returns this January 22nd with Roboteurs
StartupDrinks has been occurring for 2.5 years in its current format – a 6pm until late purely social pub night somewhere on Augusta Street (a great little group of pubs downtown). It’s been excellent in terms of allowing people to get to really know one another. But 2.5 years in, a lot of people have gotten to know each other at this point. Newcomers are still being connected at each event, but it’s not like a year or especially two years ago when everyone was a “newcomer” meeting each other for the first time. As a result it feels like a good time to try something a little different, like tightening the time of the event so people have a better idea of when to show up, and adding a talk by a local tech startup (or similar cool tech related talk) to give the event some new value.
So join us at StartupDrinks this Wednesday January 22nd from 6:30pm – 9:00pm! The event will also mark the 3-year anniversary of Software Hamilton.
