AdvanTag launches
Hamilton, Ontario – AdvanTag is a mobile application platform focusing on customer loyalty, digital and social marketing, founded by Adam El Daba and Mo Shahin in 2012. The idea was initially developed to help independent owned merchants compete with the big boys in the market with the limited marketing budget they have, if any.
After several years of research and product development, the true definition of “Loyalty” contradicted all loyalty programs that exists in the market today. Traditional loyalty focuses more on spending and points, with the assumption of customers being loyal to a brand to collect rewards, when in reality that is not the case.
Dozens of customer loyalty programs have emerged now with the goal of building a relationship between merchants and customers. AdvanTag’s vision is to take a customer through an experience (journey) from knowing the brand to making him an actual loyal customer, and finally converting him to a BRAND AMBASSADOR. Now how AdvanTag will do that is through an intuitive mobile application that will provide a new channel of engagement between brick-and-mortar shops and their customers, creating a co-framework for discounts, coupons, games, social, and much more.

With the new Mobile application, AdvanTag looks to be stronger than ever; in less than a month it has signed up over 100 merchants with a couple of hundred unique deals and campaigns.
The App is free to download on 15 March 2014 and provides an exciting portfolio of instant rewards offered by businesses across Dubai.
Once the customer downloads the App, they have full access to deals throughout different lifestyle categories. After the customer selects their desired deal and arrives at the location, they will be handed an AdvanTag secure on time use Check-in card. By simply pressing check-in and scanning this unique QR-Code, instant discounts are rewarded to the customer based on the each store promotions. The rewards and experiences can be shared with friends across all the social media networks.
Merchants signed up with AdvanTag benefit from customer retention, increased brand awareness consequently leading to an increase in profit. So far AdvanTag has served over 14,000+ unique customers across hundreds of business.
Furthermore, AdvanTag platform was used by multiple clients in Canada to engage with their customers at events and trade shows. Most recently, Mapleview centre and Wine Country Ontario with great success. The Mobile Application will be launching in Canada by Summer 2014 bringing the great deals to your fingertips.
