Hydromantis releases GPS-X Version 6.4
(Hamilton, ON Canada) – December 2nd, 2014 – Hydromantis Environmental Software Solutions, Inc. (Hydromantis), the leading global provider of water and wastewater simulation software and professional modelling services, announced today the latest release of their flagship product GPS-X™ Version 6.4.
The latest release of GPS-X includes new data plotting features, functions for defining variables, Sankey Diagram generator and a number of new process models. “With this release the users will be able to set up models, run simulations and interpret results quickly and more efficiently”, said Dr. Spencer Snowling, VP of Product Development at Hydromantis. Unit process models for anaerobic membrane bioreactors (AnMBRs), micro- screening solids separation and high rate treatment have been developed to further expand the largest collection of unit processes in GPS-X. Responding to user requests to model energy consumption more accurately, a new state of the art dynamic pump energy models for fixed- and variable-speed pumps have been developed using pump and system characteristics curves.
“Our commitment to annual development and calibration of existing unit process models keeps GPS-X at the forefront of wastewater simulator technology and the preferred choice of global wastewater professionals. Our world-class support team continues to provide assistance on demand to our evergrowing community of users” said Dr. Rajeev Goel, President of Hydromantis.
GPS-X™, introduced in 1992, was the first commercially available wastewater simulation technology and continues to be the industry’s tool of choice for the mathematical modelling, simulation and optimization of wastewater treatment plants.
