Beam me up, Scotty…I mean Recruiters at the C2C 2015

Connect to Careers(C2C) is Hamilton’s Largest Job Fair happening on March 10, 2015. The venue at Hamilton Convention Center will occupy over 150 employers looking to connect with students, alumni and members of the Hamilton community. This event is your opportunity to network with potential employers, explore career options and employment opportunities. Employers are recruiting for full time, part time, co-op and summer positions.

What’s really interesting is the new way to send resumes to recruiters through Beam on iOS/Android. Its really changing how students give out resumes at career fairs. Its convenient for job seekers as you will not need to print out hundreds of resumes. Its convenient for recruiters as everything becomes paperless. What should you bring to the Fair?

1) Yourself, please bring your student card for attendance tracking at the event.

2) Create a Beam account (Beam is an iOS/Android app that lets you send unlimited number of resumes to recruiters). Its convenient as you will not need to print out hundreds of resumes. Register at webeam.co/mac.

3) Bring Paper Resumes or Business Cards. If you have Beam installed on your phone, don’t worry about this.

4) Dress for success.
