Innovation Studio Community Check-in
The Hamilton community is invited to attend a special Innovation Studio Community Check-in hosted by the W Booth School of Engineering Practice, McMaster University. The W Booth School offers masters’ degree programs in entrepreneurship, engineering design and engineering & public policy.
This showcase will feature short presentations by graduate level engineering students who are tackling tough innovation challenges in theme areas ranging from energy conservation and water stewardship to transportation safety and human health.
The purpose is to invite feedback on proposed solutions and generate ideas on how to commercialize new products and services right here in Hamilton. The evening will kick off with a brief talk by IBM Canada executive Ross Rosier on the mission and vision of the new IBM-Hamilton Health Sciences Centre for healthcare innovation coming to downtown Hamilton later this year. Attend Innovation Studio “Community Check-In Event,” April 4 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Hamilton Central Library. FREE, includes a light dinner and networking.
