Hammer City Makers is pleased to announce that Hamilton’s second annual “Maker Faire” will take place once again at the Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology on Sunday June 26th, 2016, from 11 am to 5pm.

Maker Faires are festivals of arts, craft, and invention. Called “The greatest show and tell on earth”, they bring together educators, hobbyists, engineers, authors, artists, students, and enthusiasts of all ages to show what they have made, and share what they have learned.

It is appropriate that the 2016 Hamilton Maker Faire will take place at the birthplace of industry in Hamilton. Our city’s deep history of ingenuity, and our growing creative culture will be showcased in the gorgeous 1913 Pumphouse Building. Below its huge arched windows, our makers will show off interactive ray-gun sculptures, home made arcade cabinets and much more.
