Measuring the success of IDM in Ontario

Interactive Ontario has just embarked on a research study on the economic impact of the interactive digital media sector in our province. Measuring Success: The Impact of the Interactive Digital Media Sector in Ontario will look at IDM’s contributions to Ontario’s economy and marks the first time IO has undertaken in-depth research on this topic.

In the data gathering phase of the study, we are endeavouring to reach as many companies as possible to have them complete the questionnaire (deadline: August 31). We would love to have the City of Hamilton’s support as a Community Partner on this study. Community Partners are asked to let their networks know about the questionnaire through their various communications channels, such as email newsletters, social media and website. In exchange, your organization will be listed as a Community Partner in the completed report. If this is something that you would be willing to assist with, please let me know.

This survey is vital to creating an accurate picture of the economic contributions of Ontario’s interactive digital media companies and will help us communicate with government, funders and other stakeholders more effectively. Thank you for your consideration.

One note: the survey deadline is currently listed as August 31st, but we will be extending that to September 9th to give people a chance to complete it after summer holidays and the start of the school year.
