Editor’s note: The Spectrum program to promote entrepreneurism on McMaster campus has been re-branded to Forge@Mac. The name reflects that students interested in entrepreneurism will ultimately be headed towards The Forge incubators downtown and at McMaster Innovation Park.

Kickoff the school year right by exploring what it’s like to be an entrepreneur! Founder of Steeped Tea Inc. Tonia Jahshan joins The Forge @MAC and will delve into what it’s like to be an entrepreneur and how to get started! Tonia appeared on the hit show Dragons’ Den and struck a deal with David Chilton and Jim Treliving! Steeped Tea Inc is ranked #17 in the Profit 500 magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in Canada and #1 in the food sector. Tonia herself has be named Chatelaine’s W100 #1 female entrepreneur of Canada in 2016.
