MasterCard N>XT developer challenge is now open

1aMastercardMasterCard would like to notify the students of McMaster University that registration for the MasterCard N>XT developer challenge is now open.

The developer challenge is a 2-day hackathon event that will bring together engineering and computer science university students, professional developers, entrepreneurs and start-ups to build and develop new and innovative mobile payments applications and solutions using a suite of open MasterCard tools including the Mobile PayPass User Interface SDK and MasterCard APIs. There are three cash prizes of $10,000 each, one category dedicated to students.

The event will take place between September 28th and September 29th 2013 at the MaRS Discovery District in Toronto, Canada.Please pass on this announcement to any interested groups and encourage your students to sign up their teams at https://nxt.mastercard.ca/register. Registration is open until September 10th, 2013.
