Embrace UX returns this April

embraceux

Last year’s EmbraceUX (@EmbraceUX) conference was a major, major success. Featuring inspiring and educational talks by internationally recognized UX leaders (e.g. Jon Lax, Director of Product Design at Facebook), and important conversations about design and problem solving, the conference was without exaggeration the highest calibre technology event ever held in the city.

And if you don’t believe the schmuck that had a hand in organizing the event, just listen to what the attendees had to say:

“Exceptional in every way. Relevant. Engaging.”
– 2015 Attendee

“I was blown away by the quality of content at the conference!
– 2015 Attendee

“[Embrace UX] proves that although other conferences cost 10x as much, they aren’t 10x as valuable.
– 2015 Attendee”

Feedback like this is why it’s great to announce that Embrace UX will return this April!

When: Friday April 15th – Saturday April 16th
Where: Lincoln Alexander Centre @ 160 King Street East, Hamilton, ON
Details: EmbraceUX.com
Cost: $200 early bird

This year’s Embrace UX will feature 2 full days of talks by UX thought leaders like Jaime Levy,
author of ‘UX Strategy: How to Devise Innovative Digital Products that People Want’, and Judy Mellett,
Director of Innovation & Strategy at TELUS.

And while providing double the content of last year’s event, the price will remain outrageously competitive with comparative regional UX conferences. At $200 per early bird ticket Embrace UX is less than half the price of Waterloo’s Fluxible ($450 early bird).

The Lincoln Alexander Centre is something of a hidden gem in Hamilton. Located right downtown at the corner of Chatharine and King Street East, the gorgeous venue will act as homebase for the 250 attendees attending from across the region and North America. Embrace UX will feature delicious catered breakfast, lunch and snacks, the in-venue bar steps outside the presentation area will be open, and the spacious theatre-style seats even have those tiny fold out desks that save your knees from having to hold your laptop!

But Embrace UX 2016 will be too big for just one venue to contain. Friday night will feature an after party at Hamilton’s own Collective Arts brewery!
