(The Inc.)\, is a non-profit artist-run centre that’s been operating in Hamilton for 45 years. The Inc. aims to be an inclusive\, all-welcoming\, and free space for contemporary visual artists to explore\, experiment\, take-risks\, exhibit and develop their artistic practice. The Inc. is aware of how institutional barriers have historically prevented marginalized persons\, such as people with disabilities\, from accessing artistic spaces. The staff and Board are dedicated to breaking down these barriers to create a more equitable and accessible environment. \nThe Art Gallery of Hamilton recognizes the diversity of people’s abilities and needs. They strive to make their collections\, exhibitions\, programs\, and services accessible to all.
