Introduce yourself and what you’re working on (please be concise). \n2. While you’re talking\, everyone else is listening (please save networking/connecting for the very end). \n3. Share your company’s current roadblocks and ask if anyone from the EhList network can help. \n4. If you’d like\, share what you can help other founders with! (i.e. pricing\, hiring your first employee\, etc.)

SUMMARY:Electronics Hamilton Meetup | Christmas Ornament Competition
DESCRIPTION:Hi all as discussed here’s the rules for the Ornament competition we’re running at my work and I thought it would be fun to do the same thing at the meetup too. Here’s the rules: \nThe Timeline \nAll ornaments and print out of BOM to be brought to the December Sunday 1st meetup (see meetup schedule). \nThe Judging \nThe judging is going to be done by each of us. Entries will be judged out of ten on technical complexity and design appeal by everyone on a secret ballot. Each ornament will be placed on a table when they arrive. They will then get a sticker with a number on it and then everyone will score them. The one with the most points at the end of the night wins. We’ll figure out how to place them on the table without people knowing once we get there.\n-5 bonus points for designs able to run off a 18650 L-ion battery constantly (day and night) for 2 weeks \nThe Rules/Specs \n-Max size 100x100mm\n-12VDC power 500mA is the maximum power budget and will be provided by a wall wart power adapter if you choose to go this way over battery.\n-BOM cost maximum is $20 (excluding PCB cost\, tax and battery).\n-Scrap/surplus parts maybe used but all count towards the BOM cost \n-If a part cannot be found on digikey then the price at a north american distributor may be used\n-No names are to be placed on the PCB – for blind judging \n-Ornament must have a hanging whole (to hang on tree) \n-The ornament must have at least 1 flashing/fading LED. \n-The ornaments entered will be photoed for meetup advertising on the meetup site. \n-Any other rules that come along I’ll send out as we go/think of them! \n-Of course you’re responsible for paying for your boards and your BOM. Although be smart and share shipping costs with others in the meetup. \nPrize \nThere’s no particular prize apart from pride or a beer unless everyone decides otherwise. \nWould anyone else like to join the Electronics Hamilton slack chat? We have 11 active users on the slack and post regularly about new electronics news. Email me if interested\, \nGO! Start building and any questions let me know!

Children with sensory needs are mislabelled. Their actions\, mannerisms and behaviours\, are misunderstood. But the truth is\, they are being forced to conform to a world that wasn’t designed for them. At Senso Minds we believe that it is time we design the world to fit the needs of these children\, rather than forcing them to fit into a world that wasn’t meant for them. \nhttps://sensominds.com
