Sharp End Studio – Game Dev Drinks

This month is Hamilton’s newest startup game development company: Sharp End Studio Inc. Led by renowned creative director Andrew Spearin(Insurgency, Day of Infamy), the company is building an original IP called Valiant Effort.

Working in partnership with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Valiant Effort strives to recreate the WWII air crew experience operating an Avro Lancaster aircraft. With access to the museum archive and aircraft, SES is utilizing photogrammetry to scan artifacts for the game and digital preservation.
Valiant Effort is built with Unreal Engine 4, striving for photo realism while using innovative indie techniques of development.
