Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) brings patients and visitors the convenience of instant information with its new Hamilton Health Sciences App for iPhone and iPod touch, available now on the App Store. The app is designed to enhance the hospital experience for patients and visitors, whether their visit is planned or unexpected.
The Hamilton Health Sciences App features information about each of Hamilton Health Sciences’ six hospital sites and cancer centre, including: parking, services, clinics, coffee and gift shops, maps and the latest news.
Features include:
The ability to pinch and zoom for easier readability
Real-time information on hospital services and news
A hospital phonebook directory with one tap connection to extensions
GPS-enabled maps with pinpoint location
As a regional centre of excellence for many programs including trauma, cancer, cardiac, stroke, and children’s care, Hamilton Health Sciences serves many patients and visitors from outside the Hamilton area. The Hamilton Health Sciences app can be downloaded prior to or during a hospital visit, allowing patients and visitors visiting for the first time to familiarize themselves with their surroundings.
