City of Hamilton survey seeks input from local ICT business owners
Hamilton, ON – The City of Hamilton has officially launched the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) & Digital Media sector Business Survey. The City wants to better understand the future plans and needs of local businesses and how business owners/managers view the community as a place to do business. The information from the survey will be used to plan future economic development activities focused on the top priorities of local businesses in the ICT and Digital Media Sector.
The City of Hamilton has retained MDB Insight, an economic development consulting firm to assist with the project. MDB Insight will be working with City Staff to review the completed surveys for challenges and opportunities that the local business community is facing. Businesses are encouraged to participate in the telephone survey and since selection is random, they may be contacted between January 15th and January 31st, 2020. The survey should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
The survey is part of the City of Hamilton ICT and Digital Media Sector FDI Strategy, which aims to clearly and accurately describe the current state and value proposition of Hamilton’s ICT and Digital Media Industries.
