Mohawk College offers funding available for healthcare companies looking to get their digital health products market-ready

Hamilton’s Mohawk College is currently looking for health IT and health technology companies that are interested in partnering with the mHealth & eHealth Development Innovation Centre (MEDIC) on applied research projects, thanks to funding from NRC IRAP.

MEDIC is a national Technology Access Centre (TAC) in Digital Health. Technology Access Centres (TAC) are specialized applied R&D centers that are affiliated with a Canadian college. TACs help Canadian businesses advance their products, process and services with applied research and specialized technical support.

MEDIC is looking for companies in the healthcare sector who need specialized digital health support and would like to take part in the NRC IRAP Interactive Visit Program. The Interactive Visit program provides eligible Canadian companies with up to 20 hours of specialized technical, business and commercialization assistance for a small fee. The program unlocks access to MEDIC’s wide-ranging expertise in health IT, including Healthcare system integration, software development and patient usability testing.
