The Ontario Government offers support to Ontario companies
The Ontario Government has been organizing webinars and other virtual events in its effort to support Ontario companies to recover and further develop their interprovincial and international markets as a means to get back to business. This has included a webinar analyzing marketing and sector opportunities in exporting to Pacific Asia and a virtual event exploring cybersecurity opportunities in Turkey. The following are two upcoming events scheduled for later this month:
June 17: Ontario-India ICT/Telecom Trade and Investment Webinar
The Ontario government, in partnership with the Consulate General of India in Toronto, is organizing a free webinar on June 17, 2020 outlining opportunities and developments in the ICT and telecom sectors in Ontario and India. The session will provide insight on the impact of COVID-19 on these industries and a possible approach in the new environment. Participants will learn how companies selling technology, services and equipment may find success in the Indian and Ontario ICT and telecom markets. June 19: AI/IoT Virtual Trade Mission to India’s Smart Cities
The Ontario government is recruiting companies involved in Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things to participate in a free virtual trade mission to India. The online event, which will feature a pitch session allowing companies to introduce their products and services, is an easy, cost-effective way for Ontario exporters to explore business opportunities associated with India’s ambitious smart cities strategy. The session will also include insights on the impact of COVID-19 on the ICT/infrastructure industries and smart city projects in India, and guidance to help Ontario companies navigate the challenges in this new environment.
