From eventbrite.com — At the end of each school year for the past several years, we’ve invited HWCDSB and HWDSB students in grades 6-8 to Mohawk College to immerse them in a full day of coding activities, post-secondary pathways and careers in Information and Communications Technology (ICT). This year, we want to make sure our middle school students still have access to the ICT opportunities and information that CODEfest has provided in the past, so we’ve decided to host it online and take you on a self-paced, virtual coding career journey. Each week this summer, we will explore a digital career path via creative and interactive online tools to help students (and parents) understand what each involves and introduce how students can get started on their career goals.
